MAINTENANCE STAFF

Oak Hill Condominium personnel are employed for the purpose of providing service, and maintaining and repairing common areas.

Maintenance Director Edward “Mickey” McDermott

Mick McDermott The Board of Directors hires the Maintenance Manager directly. Mickey has been at Oak Hill before it became condos. In total Mickey has been here for almost thirty years. He is responsible for all maintenance in the ten buildings that are Oak Hill.

It seems that Mickey has been at Oak Hill forever. Actually, Mickey worked here before they were condos. Then with the Developer, Oak Hill Joint Venture. Mickey has been here at Oak Hill, in one position or another, for almost 30 years. That’s more than a career for most of us. His longevity speaks to his knowledge and experience. He is, in effect, Oak Hill Condominiums.

Mick has been our Maintenance Manager since 1994 and has been described by current and past supervisors as reliable, honest and an extremely hard worker. Mickey has been married to Teresa for 31years. They raised their daughter, Amanda, here at Oak Hill. Amanda, a college graduate, now works for Vanguard.

Mickey supervises a staff of ten and continues to be an example of excellent attitude and strong work ethic. He is our lead “trouble-shooter” on the various maintenance issues that tend to crop up. Mickey shares the “On Call” duties with Al DiLetto, our Assistant Maintenance Manager and Darrick Whitaker, our Maintenance man. Mickey leads our Snow Removal team where you’ll see him on snowy early morning hours or late in the evenings clearing our parking lots and driveways of accumulated snow. He is an extremely valuable part of our maintenance team.
